Movers and Packers
in Dubai.
Tell us where you are moving from and to, and we will send you a free quote from a vetted moving team that covers your area.
Moving in Dubai comes with details that catch people out: building move permits, restricted moving hours, high summer heat, and gated communities that need access cleared in advance. We take the stress out of it by matching you with vetted, insured moving teams that handle apartments, villas and offices across every Dubai area, from Marina and JLT to Arabian Ranches, Business Bay and Deira. Crews handle loading, transport, unloading and furniture reassembly, and packing can be added so boxes, wrapping and labelling are done for you before moving day.

Moving permits and building access in Dubai
Most apartment buildings and gated communities in Dubai ask for a moving permit, sometimes called a move-in or move-out NOC, before a moving team can start. It is worth asking your building or community management for their exact requirements a week or two before the move. The teams we work with are used to these steps and can prepare the paperwork on their side, so access is cleared before the truck arrives.
The paperwork
Building management or the owners association usually wants a short request form, a copy of your tenancy contract or title deed, and the moving company trade licence.
Insurance details
Buildings often ask to see the moving company insurance before they clear access for the crew and the truck.
Refundable deposit
Many buildings hold a refundable deposit against any damage to lifts, corridors or other common areas during the move.
Allowed hours
Buildings set the hours and days when moves are allowed, often excluding Fridays and public holidays, so confirm the window early.

What a move usually costs.
These are typical market ranges in Dubai, not fixed quotes. The final price depends on the volume of items and the distance between the two addresses, plus access details such as lifts, stairs and parking.
| Property | Typical range |
|---|---|
| Studio | AED 700 - 1,000 |
| 1-bedroom | AED 900 - 1,400 |
| 2-bedroom | AED 1,400 - 2,200 |
| 3-bedroom | AED 2,000 - 3,500 |
| Villas | from AED 3,500 |
What affects the price of your move
The ranges above move up or down based on a few things specific to Dubai. When you request a quote, the more detail you give on volume, access and timing, the closer the price will be to the final one.
Volume of items
Volume is the biggest factor, so a full three-bedroom home costs more than a lightly furnished one of the same size.
Distance
Distance between the two addresses matters, and an inter-emirate move to Abu Dhabi or Sharjah adds to the bill.
Access at both ends
A high floor with a small lift, a long carry from the truck, or limited parking all add time and crew.
Add-ons and timing
Packing, dismantling and reassembly, and storage are priced on top. End of month is the busiest period, and summer moves can carry a small premium.
Moving during the Dubai summer
From May to October, Dubai regularly sits above 40 degrees, and that shapes how a move is best handled. When you request a quote, note the month and the floor and lift situation at both ends so the team can plan the timing properly.
Early or late slots
Early morning or evening slots are kinder on both the crew and your belongings than the middle of the day.
Keep the truck moving
A well-staffed team keeps the truck loaded and moving rather than sitting in the heat between trips.
Heat-sensitive items
Flag candles, electronics, artwork and delicate furniture finishes so they are packed and transported with the heat in mind.
Cooled storage
If there is a gap between homes, climate-controlled storage keeps sensitive items safe until you are ready.
What to check before booking a mover in Dubai
A standard move covers loading, transport, unloading and placing items in the right rooms, with dismantling and reassembly for beds, wardrobes and larger pieces. Packing is normally an add-on, either full or fragile items only, with boxes and materials supplied by the team.
Valid trade licence
Check that the company holds a valid UAE trade licence before you commit to any mover in Dubai.
Goods in transit cover
Ask for insurance that covers your goods while they are in transit, and request the coverage details in writing.
Written quote
Get the quote in writing with the inclusions listed so there are no surprises on the day of the move.
What we check
We only pass your request to teams that are licensed and insured, and the quote you receive back sets out what is covered.

Moving out? Do not forget the cleaning
Most Dubai landlords and agents expect the unit to be handed back cleaned, and an empty apartment is the easiest time to get it done. Book move-out cleaning in Dubai for the day after the truck leaves, so the property is spotless for the final inspection.
If your tenancy is ending and your deposit is on the line, end of tenancy cleaning covers the deeper items agents check first: kitchen interiors, bathrooms, AC vents and balconies.
